The ten drawings were created over a remarkably short span, between January and April 1989. What makes this series distinctive is the use of a single blueprint as a common ground: on this shared surface, Hecker layered variations, studies, and solutions, working directly with colored pencils and white chalk. Only two drawings depart from this method.
